Surface Laptop Go 2020 EditionRumors suggest Microsoft is planning to launch the Surface Laptop Go 2, with speculation indicating a release in June 2022 across various markets. The Verge discovered a retailer in South Korea leaking details about the configuration of the new generation Surface Go.
Surface Laptop 2 to feature 11th Gen Intel CPU (i5-1135G7). Previous generation Surface Laptop Go, released in 2020, came with 10th Gen Intel CPU. New model will come with pre-installed Windows 11 and improved HD camera.
Surface Laptop Go 2020 EditionInformation displayed on retailer's website also reveals customers can pre-order Surface Laptop Go 2 from June 2nd. According to Winfuture.de, device will have starting price of $650 (approximately 15 million VND).
On the other hand, Surface Laptop Go 2 will be equipped with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage. However, standard configuration may only have 4 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage. New laptop is expected to provide battery life of 13.5 hours.
Surface Laptop Go 2 will feature a 12.4-inch display with a 3:2 aspect ratio, including ports such as USB-A, USB-C, a dedicated charging port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Unfortunately, the new Surface Go model will not have a backlit keyboard. Retailers also reveal the device will come in four colors: Sage, Platinum, Ice Blue, and Sandstone.
