The latest leak from the Microsoft Store has unveiled detailed information about the game that Ubisoft planned to announce in the upcoming Forward presentation. A new Immortals Fenyx Rising store page, now non-existent, had fresh game details, displaying screenshots and confirming this as a Smart Delivery game.
Microsoft Store exposes detailed information about Ubisoft's Immortals Fenyx Rising
Here's how Ubisoft describes its new game on the store page:
'Pre-order now to receive the bonus mission, A Tale of Fire and Lightning!'
Immortals Fenyx Rising brings forth an epic mythological adventure.
Step into the shoes of Fenyx, a winged demigod on a quest to rescue the Greek gods. The fate of the world hangs in the balance - you are the gods' last hope.
- Harness the power of gods like Achilles' sword and Daedalus' wings to battle formidable foes and solve ancient puzzles.
- Combat iconic mythological beasts such as Cyclops and Medusa in vibrant aerial and ground battles.
- Utilize your skills and weapons including homing arrows, extrasensory perception, and more to deal devastating damage to enemies.
- Explore the stunning open world across 7 unique regions, each inspired by a deity.
The company unveiled the game for the first time at E3 2019 under the title Gods & Monsters, a brand new IP being developed by the team behind Assassin's Creed Odyssey. However, this is one of Ubisoft's games that was delayed for further development time, and it seems besides the name change, the art style has also been slightly modified.
Similar to other upcoming Ubisoft titles like Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Immortals Fenyx Rising will support Xbox Smart Delivery, allowing players to play the Xbox One version on Xbox Series X and vice versa at no extra cost. A similar process is also expected for the PlayStation 4 version.
The Microsoft Store page listed December 3, 2020 as the release date for Immortals Fenyx Rising, although this could be a placeholder. Ubisoft will provide full details about the game in the second Forward presentation on September 10.
