The software giant, Microsoft, tirelessly adds a slew of features and performance improvements to Teams. Specifically, in the latest update of Teams for Android, version 1416/1.0.0.2018091302, Microsoft has introduced a new calling feature to the application.
Below is the complete change log of the update:
- Initiate 1:1 or group calls from the Calls tab. - Seek recipient's opinion before transferring a call. - Exit or mute meeting audio on the new meeting detail page. - Participate in Q&A during live events. - Schedule private meetings. - Preview various file types.
These new changes from Microsoft aim to keep Teams competitive with its counterparts. Last year, Microsoft also added and supported several new features for Teams on Android, including video calling and app management through Microsoft Intune, along with performance enhancements and accessibility improvements.
