In a recent announcement, Microsoft stated they will soon bring chat bubbles to Microsoft Teams, a feature perhaps all too familiar to Messenger or WhatsApp users. On mobile devices, when you receive a new message, chat bubbles (message notifications) will appear on the screen for a few seconds. Microsoft is working to bring that experience to Windows 10 and macOS by introducing support for new chat bubble feature in Teams.
Microsoft Teams adds chat bubbles for Windows 10 and MacOS.
Microsoft Teams for Windows 10 and MacOS will feature chat bubbles and a new Video viewing mode
As you can see in the image below, the new Microsoft Teams chat bubbles will appear on the main screen of the meeting and it will help participants easily track the conversation. Currently, users need to open the chat window on the right side of the app and scroll through the chat history to view the latest messages.
With chat bubbles, the conversation will be displayed on the screens of all meeting participants and it will allow users to participate in the discussion without switching to the current chat screen. Of course, you can always turn off Bubble notifications if you prefer. The chat bubble feature is set to roll out in mid-July and is expected to reach all Teams users on Windows 10, macOS by the end of the month.

Additionally, Microsoft Teams now includes a new Paging feature in Large Gallery view. The current Large Gallery view of Teams displays up to 49 videos on the screen. To allow users to view up to 98 videos of meeting participants simultaneously, Microsoft will add Paging support to Teams.
Now, in Large Gallery view, when a meeting has more than 49 attendees, you'll be able to use the Paging feature to view videos of other participants with new navigation controls.
This feature will be rolled out in the coming weeks. If you can't wait any longer, you can always sign up for the Microsoft Teams Preview program to experience the features being tested before they are officially released.
