After much speculation, Microsoft finally launches the Surface Laptop Go 2, a compact Surface laptop with a starting price of 599 USD. The 'Go' series from Microsoft typically targets students, remote workers, or those looking to experience Surface devices.
The Surface Laptop Go 2 features a compact 12.4-inch PixelSense display with a 3:2 aspect ratio, a resolution of 1,536 x 1,024 px, and a maximum brightness of 330 nits. The new laptop is powered by the 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor with three memory configurations for consumers to choose according to their needs:
- RAM 4 GB + SSD 128 GB priced at 599 USD (approximately 13.9 million dong).
- RAM 8 GB + SSD 128 GB priced at 699 USD (approximately 16.2 million dong).
- RAM 8 GB + SSD 256 GB priced at 799 USD (approximately 18.5 million dong).

The standard model with 4 GB RAM + 128 GB SSD will not have the integrated fingerprint sensor on the power button, while the other two models will. Customers can choose from four colors: Platinum, Sage, Ice Blue, and Sandstone.
On the other hand, the Surface Laptop Go 2 features common connectivity ports such as USB-A, USB-C, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Surface Connect port (Microsoft's proprietary charging port compatible with magnetic chargers). Customers can now pre-order the Laptop Go 2 on Microsoft's website, and the device will officially be available on June 7th.
