Inside the school gate stands the duty room, a cozy little space where the flag team operates. The flags, dignified on wooden stands, proudly adorn the veranda of the duty room. Beyond lies the playground, though not cemented, always kept immaculate. Each day, the janitor and duty teams diligently clear any litter. Everyone takes pride in maintaining the pristine condition of the playground. Most striking are the lush green trees lining its edges. Tall banyan trees, their branches sprawling like giant canopies, grace the grounds. Despite the passage of time and the elements, they stand tall, adding cheer to the school's scenery. In the center stands the flagpole, steadfast, its flag fluttering in the morning breeze. Before this pole, every Monday morning, we gather for the flag-raising ceremony. These rituals serve as reminders of our fallen heroes, fostering a deeper understanding of our beloved Vietnam.
Beyond the familiar expanse of the playground lies a row of well-appointed classrooms. From afar, this block resembles a colossal cuboid. Each classroom boasts pale yellow accents, vibrant red tiled roofs, and freshly polished desks. Adorning every classroom are portraits of Uncle Ho and his five teachings. Uncle Ho gazes upon us with a benevolent heart and inclusive spirit.
Embracing Uncle Ho's teachings, we devote ourselves to learning and diligence. Each classroom tends to its own nursery project. Vibrant flower pots, bursting with hues, adorn the verdant foliage, adding to the school's charm.
The landscapes within the playground, classrooms, and boarding house cafeteria are immaculate. The principal's office and administrative rooms are tastefully decorated. Even the bike shed exudes tidiness and aesthetic appeal. Together, they uphold the school's reputation for cleanliness and beauty.
One day, I will depart from this beloved elementary school to pursue education at higher institutions, yet this elementary school will forever dwell in my heart. I hope that each day, my school continues to evolve into a more dignified and beautiful place. I am certain that I will hold a deep affection for it. It serves as today's anchor as I journey towards tomorrow.
