for the gaming community in Vietnam. Firstly, the game will switch to a new client named Honkai: Star Rail - 3T Online. This is a different name from the 'Star Path' licensed by the Ministry of Information and Communications. According to Mytour's investigation, the international client is no longer available for download on Google Play (the download button is disabled), and the Vietnamese version is also no longer found. Due to the numerous changes in update 1.4, after implementation, all gamers playing on it will need to download the new client to catch up with the system changes.

The second important detail of this announcement is the cessation of using Apple accounts for logging in for iOS gamers. The solution is for gamers to link their accounts to a personal email via Hoyoverse and then use this email for login instead. Game progress remains intact, so you don't have to worry about losing your account after the release of version 1.4.

This renaming has been anticipated beforehand as information from 3T Online, the unit announcing the release of Honkai: Star Rail in Vietnam, has been circulating since April. This isn't the first time Hoyoverse has used this kind of release-link-renaming strategy. Previously, Honkai Impact 3rd had its logo changed from 'Hoyo' to 'Funtap' for release linking and later underwent another change to link with the current unit, Hong Ha JSC.

Therefore, there are two significant changes for Honkai: Star Rail mobile players after applying version 1.4. First, after updating to 1.4, mobile gamers must download the new client labeled '3T Online' to play, as the old Honkai: Star Rail client is no longer functional.
