Enhancements to Artifacts
In Genshin Impact, artifacts have been a 'pain point' for players, not only due to tons of RNG but also due to the shortcomings in searching, using, and enhancing them. Players have lamented about this for 3 years, and now miHoYo announces upcoming changes.

With the release of version 4.0, players will witness some immediate changes. The two most noteworthy adjustments are the introduction of 8 old artifact sets prior to patch 2.0 into the Artifact Exchange feature (exchange 3 gold artifacts for 1 random gold artifact) and an increase in artifact storage from 1500 to 1800. Additionally, players will have the ability to dismantle 4-star artifacts more efficiently, although it remains unclear who will find this feature essential.

Other Exciting Announcements by miHoYo
Several other optimizations have been implemented in patch 4.0, enhancing the gaming experience for Genshin Impact players. PC, PS4, and PS5 players can now use the gyro on their controllers to control characters, eliminating the need for directional buttons or joysticks. However, a significant change PC players eagerly await, the ability to pick up all items with a single press, is still nowhere to be seen.

The daily commission feature is also part of the update, but miHoYo hasn't provided information on how it will change. Mytour hopes they will replicate the commission feature from Honkai: Star Rail to minimize necessary actions for players. However, this change may not appear in patch 4.0, so hold off on the excitement.
Genshin Impact Patch 4.0 also marks the official launch of the in-game underground map. It will be updated for all nations previously, providing relief for players who have been tormented by the underground mazes of Sumeru.

The number of weapons we can choose in Genshin Impact's Traveler's Diary has increased to 10, with 5 completely new additions. This is a clever move by miHoYo, as patch 3.8 was the 25th version, and those who bought the Traveler's Diary from the beginning have maxed out all the old weapons. For players who haven't maxed out, they can still choose old weapons if they prefer.
The Seven Star Summons battle feature becomes even more captivating as miHoYo introduces the 'observer' function to matches. Easily watch card battles of friends or within the current co-op team. If you prefer privacy, you can also disable this feature.

Finally, miHoYo treats Genshin Impact players to a 'teaser' by stating that many more optimizations will be introduced in upcoming posts. However, they still owe us the permanent events promised earlier. Let's eagerly await with Mytour to see what these changes are and whether they truly align with our desires!
