In a blog post released on Sunday, Microsoft-owned developers revealed the new logo and explained that this decision was inspired by the expansion of multiple studios and the development of numerous games. Despite being headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, Mojang has employees working in the UK, US, and Canada.
Mojang, the studio behind the world's most famous game, has revealed their new look. From now on, Mojang will be known as Mojang Studios, bringing together their multiple studios worldwide (developing games like Minecraft, Minecraft Dungeons, and Minecraft Earth) under one name.

Alongside a modern name, they've also designed a shiny new logo. In fact, the word 'mojang' clearly means 'gadget' in ancient Swedish. That's why the individual characters forming the new logo are called Gizmos, representing the fresh face of Mojang Studios.
Thomas Wiborgh, head of the company's communications department, shared: 'A lot has happened since 2009. From humble beginnings in Stockholm, we're stepping into the 2020s as a multi-game, multi-location company. Following Minecraft Earth and Minecraft Dungeons, we're planning movie productions, gearing up for grand live events, and fleshing out ideas for entirely new games.'
Certainly, Minecraft Earth is the free AR game announced by Mojang last year as part of the main game's 10th birthday celebration. You can pre-register for Minecraft Earth and download it for iOS or Android, if your device supports AR.
On the other hand, Minecraft Dungeons is an action-packed RPG set in the blocky world, first revealed in 2018. It will launch on Windows 10, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Game Pass on May 26th with prices at $19.99 (Standard Edition) or $29.99 (Hero Edition).
Recently, Facebook has revealed plans to integrate Messenger Rooms into its WhatsApp application. Today, WhatsApp begins testing Messenger Rooms for iPhone with many unique and interesting features.
