No success comes easily
At the end of the 1990s, after finishing high school, young girl Thu Hoai decided to go to Taiwan alone. At first, Thu Hoai worked part-time to earn money. Then, when she had some capital, she started a small food business in the night market and expanded it into a restaurant.
She is now a beautiful and successful woman
After the restaurant had its own place and became famous, Thu Hoai decided to sell the brand to someone else. During her years abroad, this woman always wanted to return to her homeland to become wealthy. In 2005, Thu Hoai returned to Vietnam and started surveying the domestic market, and two years later officially started her business in her hometown.

The time in Taiwan has taught her valuable lessons for her future business career. Stepping out of her homeland without family support, she knew she would face difficulties. She decided that once she set out, there was no turning back, and with no idea what to do at home, she had to succeed.
Success after success
She reflects that in a person's life, there are at least three opportunities. First is being born into a wealthy family, second is marrying into wealth, and finally life gives a chance to rise up. Unfortunately, she didn't have the first two, so she always tried to seize the third opportunity.

She knew how to seize opportunities, not letting them slip away, so after many failed business attempts, she succeeded. To date, she has been the owner of many businesses, from beauty spas, restaurants to media companies.
In 2012, she participated in the Mrs. Universe 2012 competition in the US and she won the crown. The title of Mrs. Universe has helped her a lot in community activities and business.

Success in her career is one thing, but in married life, the couple had irreconcilable differences. At the end of 2015, she announced her divorce from her Taiwanese husband. After the divorce, she neither complained nor spoke ill of her ex-husband because she didn't want to hurt anyone.

After the divorce, the children stayed with her, so in addition to handling business affairs, she also had to spend time with them. Around 6 p.m., she would be at home to have dinner with her children, until 9 p.m. she would meet friends and partners. By midnight, she would relax and recharge. She worked a 12-hour day, from 8 a.m. to around 6 p.m.

Teaching her children to value money and her own hard work is what Miss Businesswoman Thu Hoai has done. She only provides enough money for their basic needs; for discretionary spending, they have to earn it themselves.
She has her children help out at her restaurant and pays them a fair wage like any other employee. This way, her children will appreciate her efforts, not rely on her wealth, and above all, work diligently.
Always remember where you started
In 2014, she opened a restaurant reminiscent of her first successful venture in the foreign land, China. The restaurant, named Shrimp Kingdom, covers an area of 300m2. She personally invited top A-grade chefs from Taiwan to Vietnam to work and prepare hundreds of fresh seafood dishes.
