Primarily constructed from granite stone, the antique villas in Dalat were purchased by the romantic king Bao Dai for his beloved concubine named Phi Anh. According to locals, the villa was built in 1928, emulating Spanish architecture. Phi Anh Villa stands out not only for its architecture but also for the mystical spiritual stories surrounding it. It's a villa adorned with numerous symbols of Eastern culture such as lotus flowers, Cham girl statues, bird heads, amidst a backdrop of Western architectural styles.

Renowned as the most door-rich antique house in Dalat today, featuring various sizes and shapes like circular, rectangular, arched, cross-shaped, ... after 1975, it became a collective apartment for several households, and now it's rented out to open a restaurant. The villa is also adorned with legendary colors, evoking illusions of a family that once lived here. The husband suffered from mental illness, one night he dreamed a strange dream and woke up to dig and discover two damaged Cham girl statues. He then brought the statues to set up a shrine, after which the husband recovered from his illness completely.
Existing for over a century, yet the villa still harbors unsolved mysteries, it has now been fully restored into a beautiful Dalat house with a space exhibiting portraits of King Bao Dai and concubine Phi Anh.
