A few days before preparing for your child's vaccination, moms, remember to get some purple basil, cut about 10 young stems, and wash them thoroughly with water. In general, the more you eat, the better.
Purple basil is excellent when moms take their babies for vaccination. Before the vaccination day, include dishes with purple basil in your diet.
If your child is picky, transform it into dishes with plenty of purple basil or use it as a raw vegetable. Then, give your child plenty of milk, the more, the better. After vaccination, moms, let your baby breastfeed a lot to avoid dehydration.
Because purple basil contains natural antibiotics, it helps prevent any slight fever in your child, moms. For babies using formula milk, mix crushed purple basil leaves with warm water for them to drink. It's very healthy and won't cause any discomfort.
After vaccination, use a cotton pad, the same kind nurses use, gently press it on the injection site until it dries. Then, use a cold cloth stored in a cooler bag (the one for storing breast milk) for a soothing compress.
Before heading for vaccination, moms, remember to buy a fever-reducing patch (you can find it in any pharmacy, any brand will do). Use this patch on the injection site to make sure your baby feels no pain and quickly reduces any fever, keeping them comfortable and not bothering you.
The doctor is vaccinating your precious baby while they sleep soundly, unaware of what the doctor is doing until they get home.
Here are some clever tips for you moms:
- When your child has loose stools, moms should consume carrots, green bananas, and make guava infusion like tea. Drinking this type of water and giving your child a pacifier will quickly stop diarrhea.
- When your child reaches 3 or 4 months, occasionally pretend to offer a spoon or fork to their mouth as if feeding them. This will make introducing solid food later on much faster and less unfamiliar.
- Place objects like toys, scissors, etc. (carefully covered with newspaper) in your child's bed so they don't startle when sleeping. Alternatively, use a strawberry silk ribbon or a necklace made from mulberry silk as a soothing tool.
- Moms, avoid drinking orange juice or any vitamin C-containing drinks to prevent your child from having loose stools. Infants often have diarrhea resembling mustard, so moms, be attentive. When they're still little, their intestinal tract is not that stable.
