(Homeland) - Open world games continue to prove their allure and strong influence.
In recent years, open world games have increasingly demonstrated their appeal and popularity. Following the success of Genshin Impact, a slew of new open world games have been continuously released and warmly received. This wave shows no signs of slowing down, and in 2023, gamers worldwide will still be treated to the following noteworthy blockbusters.
Forspoken
As the debut title from Luminous Production, Forspoken promises to bring a colorful world of magic. Following the main character Frey - who is transported from New York to the land of Athia - where magic is life and extremely common.

In Forspoken, players' mission is to guide Frey through dangerous challenges, learn new spells, and find a way back home. Stunning graphics, impressive gameplay, and perfect combat mechanics will be the key factors in the success of this project.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage
Despite recent criticisms of its gameplay, the Assassin’s Creed series remains a renowned and warmly embraced franchise. Assassin’s Creed Mirage is no exception.

The main character in the game is Basim Ibn Ishaq on his journey to become an official member of the Assassin Brotherhood. Although the game map is not vast, with its familiar stealthy and assassin-like gameplay, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is still a highly anticipated title this year.
Skull and Bones
Initially, many thought Skull and Bones would be a story-driven game. However, Ubisoft has clarified that it's not just that. While there's a main storyline and NPCs guiding, Skull and Bones won't have a story conclusion. In other words, the story is written by the players themselves.

However, it's quite unfortunate that Ubisoft recently delayed the release date of this highly anticipated open-world blockbuster once again. Originally announced in 2018, Skull and Bones was pushed to March this year after several delays. And currently, it's still unknown when exactly this masterpiece will be released.
