Experience Ultra-Smooth Gameplay with 165Hz Refresh Rate Display
In terms of display capabilities, the GP66 boasts a premium screen that meets the visual needs of many gamers. Specifically, the machine is equipped with a 15.6-inch display with QHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels), using an IPS panel to accurately reproduce colors and high levels of detail.
The top and side bezels of the screen have also been slimmed down, optimizing the screen-to-body ratio and giving the laptop a sleek appearance despite its sizable display. With a high refresh rate of up to 165Hz, all on-screen movements occur rapidly and smoothly, with minimal latency, enhancing gaming and video playback experiences.

In addition to its large size and high resolution, the GP66's screen is equipped with an IPS panel that covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut, delivering excellent image rendering with precise details and true-to-life colors. Combined with a refresh rate of 165 Hz, it can effectively meet graphic demands, ensuring immersive gaming experiences or facilitating creative content creation tasks.
Powerful Configuration
The GP66 is equipped with the powerful Core i7-11800H processor. This chip boasts top-notch performance with 8 cores and 16 processing threads, reaching a maximum clock speed of 4.60 GHz. This enables the laptop to handle intensive tasks like gaming for extended periods while optimizing power consumption.

To maximize the performance of the i7-11800H, the GP66 is also outfitted with 16GB of DDR4 RAM clocked at 3200 MHz. This ensures smooth multitasking without any lag. Additionally, the inclusion of a 512GB M.2 PCle SSD allows for swift data extraction, transmission, and app loading, providing users with the fastest and smoothest gaming experience.
The GP66 also excels in graphics processing with its NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card. This capability allows users to seamlessly perform tasks such as graphic design, video rendering, or playing AAA games with high-quality graphics and stable Ray Tracing settings.

Battery Life
Equipped with high-performance components, the GP66 Leopard won't last long with its 65Wh battery. In tests, MSI's gaming laptop only lasted 2 hours and 25 minutes when web browsing over Wi-Fi, with the screen brightness set at 150 nits. This battery life result is lower than the segment's average.

Cooling Capability
After 15 minutes of gaming, the temperature between the G and H keys measures 38.6 degrees Celsius, while the touchpad reaches 25.6 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature area of the laptop is located under the chassis, registering at 46.7 degrees Celsius.

Currently, the GP66 is priced at around 37 million Vietnamese dong at HACOM (price at the time of writing at the HACOM system). This is a reasonable price for gamers or media creators who have sufficient economic strength and need a gaming laptop with stable build quality and a capable configuration to handle graphic tasks or heavy gaming. With its attractive design, powerful configuration, and sharp display, this laptop model is a worthwhile choice in its price range.
