MSI's Intel 700-Series motherboards will support up to 192GB of DDR5 RAM.

Recently, Crucial has become the first manufacturer to introduce DDR5 DIMM products with capacities of up to 24GB and 48GB for both desktops and laptops. These DIMM memory modules adhere to JEDEC standards, allowing PCs to have more RAM while maintaining the same number of DIMMs.

The new DIMM memory adheres to DDR5-5600 standard and supports all DDR5 features. Notably, it includes the ability to self-correct errors with ECC directly on the Die Chip (ODECC) along with integrated power management circuits (PMIC) directly on the module.

In its latest press release, MSI has announced further support for DDR5 memory DIMMs of 24GB and 48GB for both the Intel 700-Series and Intel 600-Series, including MEG, MPG, MAG, & PRO Series products. Motherboards with 4 DIMMs will support a maximum capacity of up to 192GB, while those with 2 DIMMs will support 96GB.
