1. Pine Hill, Nho Quan
Location: nestled amidst Phu Loc - Phu Long, Nho Quan, Ninh Binh
Mentioning pine hills, adventurers and fresh blankets alike will immediately conjure thoughts of Da Lat. Yet, in Ninh Binh, you can also relish the refreshing, tranquil ambiance, and romantic scenery of such a pine hill - head straight to Nho Quan pine hill!
This hill sits right on the road between Phu Loc and Phu Long communes, taking approximately 45 minutes to reach. Upon arrival, you'll be awe-struck by the majestic scene akin to a miniature Da Lat: hundreds of straight pine trees blanketing the hill, layers of branches spreading wide above the lush green carpet of grass, creating an immensely romantic atmosphere.
Venturing through the forest, you'll spot trails reminiscent of 'Da Lat'. Additionally, on the hill, there are charming resting huts, quaint cafes with a distinct Korean vibe. If you chance upon them, don't hesitate to capture some Instagram-worthy moments! Camping on Nho Quan pine hill is also a popular activity among many young enthusiasts. However, for safety, it's advisable to camp with a large group, prepare food, tents, and other necessary supplies in advance.

2. Khê Hạ Village Red Maple Tree
Address: Khê Hạ Village, Ninh Xuân Commune, Hoa Lư District, Ninh Binh
Temporarily departing from the city center towards Khê Hạ Village, we will immediately encounter an authentically Korean-style check-in spot. The spot in question is a house with moss-covered stone walls nestled within the village. At first glance, it may seem ordinary, but wanderers quickly recognize the very poetic beauty here.
Specifically, this house is quite old, with stone walls surrounding it, wooden doors leading to the floor, and a fruitful red tree in front of the gate. You should visit here during the fruiting season of the red tree, rent hanbok and ancient Korean-style accessories to capture the most authentic photos. Alternatively, dress in vintage style with floral dresses or linen dresses, which are also very cute.
Currently, this location allows free check-ins. However, due to overcrowding, you may have to wait a long time to get satisfactory photoshoots. On the other hand, remember to choose the right time when the red tree bears fruit to capture those golden photo moments!

3. Gia Hưng Deer Farm
Address: Gia Hưng, Gia Viễn, Ninh Bình
Ninh Binh tourist destination
Gia Hưng Deer Farm is a flat, lush green land on the edge of the lake, surrounded by dense pine forests. The atmosphere here is quite peaceful, serene, with the sheep being friendly and adorable. To capture beautiful check-in photos, you should visit the deer farm around mid-afternoon, when the sun is not too harsh but the temperature is not too hot. The most suitable outfit for 'living the virtual life' here is long safari-style dresses or cowboy clothes.
Entrance tickets to the deer farm range from 50,000 VND to 100,000 VND. On the other hand, before taking photos with the sheep, be sure to ask the owner about the price first!

4. Châu Sơn Holy Mother Monastery
Address: Phú Sơn, Nho Quan, Ninh Bình
Most of Ninh Binh's architectural landmarks exude a very Vietnamese beauty with pagodas, temples, and pointed roofs covered in moss. However, amidst these historical structures, there are still some places with distinctive, classical Western style, elegant and splendid, such as the Châu Sơn Holy Mother Monastery.
This building follows the characteristic Gothic architecture: pointed spires, red brick walls stained with time, intricately carved blue doors, ... The most picturesque 'virtual living' spots here are the facade in front of the cathedral, the green courtyard with circular flower beds, and the statue of Christ in the monastery yard. Further away from the main building, you'll come across a serene blue lake, its shores adorned with white pebbles, exuding a romantic atmosphere. Châu Sơn Monastery is also a favorite wedding photoshoot location for couples.
As it is a spiritual place, when visiting here, you should dress modestly, avoid speaking too loudly, and pay attention to the solemnity of the place!

5. Fairy Cave
Address: part of the ancient capital relic complex in Hoa Lư, Trường Yên, Hoa Lư, Ninh Bình
which tourist destination in Ninh Binh should you visit
Located within the Tràng An scenic area, Fairy Cave leaves a strong impression of a secluded meditation spot, as if in a mythical realm with majestic mountains surrounding it. To reach the Fairy Cave temple, we have to climb a quite long mountain path, but in return, the scenery here is very beautiful. Fairy Cave temple is very ancient, with distinctive Vietnamese architecture like curved roof, red doors,... This is also the place where Queen Dương Vân Nga once cut her hair to become a nun.
After leaving Fairy Cave temple, you should visit Giải Pond. This is a crystal-clear lake with emerald green water that seems to penetrate to the bottom, amidst countless waves creating an extremely eerie beauty for the entire ancient capital area. When checking in at Giải Pond, be careful not to stand too close to the water's edge!

On the other hand, within the Tràng An complex, you can easily capture stunning 'virtual living' photos at Tam Cốc - Bích Động, conquer the peak of Múa mountain, visit Bái Đính pagoda - the most magnificent ancient temple in Vietnam, and many other wonders.

7. Cuc Phuong National Park
Address: Nho Quan, Ninh Bình
Cuc Phuong National Park used to be a familiar name but recently, it has truly caught the attention of backpackers. Stepping into the forest, we immediately feel the cool air with a low temperature of only 25 degrees Celsius - incredibly refreshing compared to the scorching sun outside.
Wandering in Cuc Phuong forest, just randomly choosing a forest patch, we instantly have a stunning 'virtual living' photo with incredibly beautiful nature. Along the trails, you will also encounter many rare species of animals, admire the famous white butterfly path of Cuc Phuong, and many other beautiful scenes.
Staying overnight in Cuc Phuong forest is also a popular activity. However, the accommodation areas in the forest do not have electricity so you need to consider carefully before deciding to stay!
