Pork Skin Roll Rice Paper
Many tourists wonder why sliced pork can have skin at both ends, isn't it thanks to the skilled hands of the chefs who have created this unique dish in Da Nang. Taken from the buttock part of the pig, boiled and cut into thin slices, about a few millimeters (3-5cm wide, 10-15cm long), the meat still retains the layer of fat and skin at both ends.
Certainly, pork should be accompanied by various ingredients to be truly authentic. Firstly, there's leaf noodles, made from rice flour into thin sheets, about 1mm thick, resembling rice paper. Next are vegetables, including lettuce, basil, water spinach, bitter herbs, mint, banana flowers, bean sprouts, cucumber, creating a distinctive flavor.
