Má Lé Village
Má Lé, situated in Dong Van District, lies approximately 148km away from the heart of Hà Giang City. This ancient village of the Giáy people is nestled amidst towering rocky mountains, its narrow entrance concealed amidst quaint houses and tall trees. Currently inhabited by over 50 households, most of the houses here are hand-built by the locals, with some structures dating back over a century.

With its beautiful natural landscape and well-preserved traditional values, visitors here immerse themselves in the ambiance of characteristic stilt houses, locals clad in Dao ethnic attire, exuding warmth and friendliness. Preserving tradition and developing tourism has become a sustainable direction for Nặm Đăm. Consequently, Nặm Đăm was honored to receive the ASEAN Award for the accommodation model combined with heritage introduction, experience, and conservation in the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark.

Thèn Pả Village
Thèn Pả, nestled beneath the Lũng Cú Flagpole, known locally as the 'Dragon's Eye,' never runs dry throughout the year. The lake to the left lies near Lô Lô Chải village, while the one to the right lies near Thèn Pả village.
At the entrance of the village stand two rows of ancient fir trees, hundreds of years old. The fir tree, with its straight, conical trunk and horizontally tiered branches, is an iconic symbol of the Dong Van Karst Plateau (Hà Giang) due to its robust vitality.
Thèn Pả boasts its own beauty throughout the seasons. In spring, the pink blossoms of cherry trees and the white blossoms of pear trees cover the mountainsides, village paths, and gardens, creating vibrant patches of color. In summer, it's the season of lush green cornfields, overlooking the crystal-clear waters of the Dragon's Eye lake.
As autumn arrives, the terraced rice fields ripen, painting a picturesque scene of golden harvest. Stepping into winter, the village is engulfed in morning mist.
