As the most unique architectural marvel in the Central Highlands, Minh Thanh Pagoda is not only a source of pride for the mountainous residents but also a captivating tourist attraction in Pleiku. Unlike other pagodas with characteristics of Theravada Buddhism, Minh Thanh Pagoda bears significant influences from Chinese and Japanese architecture.

The 12-hectare square stands out with the statue of President Ho Chi Minh leaning against the Dragon Jaw – mimicking the highest peak of the Pleiku plateau. Behind the statue is a bas-relief carved on white stone, depicting the scenery and life of the Central Highlands people. In front of the monument area are square-cut grass patches resembling Ba Dinh Square.

Pleiku Prison
A unique attraction for every traveler visiting Pleiku, Pleiku Prison was once a place of imprisonment for political prisoners during the French and American periods (pre-1975) with various forms of torture and brutality. After 1975, the local authorities invested in renovating some sections and preserved the prison as a place for educating the younger generation about history.

Tea Sea by Biển Hồ
Located on the northern shore of Biển Hồ, known as the Tea Sea, it is a combination of an irrigation reservoir and tea plantations stretching as far as the eye can see. The tea hills here are only about 13 km from Pleiku city, situated in Chư Pah district. This is also the first tea plantation established by the French in Gia Lai, dating back to the early 20th century.

Yaly Hydroelectric Plant
Situated amidst the majestic highlands of the Central Highlands, the Yaly hydroelectric plant is located along the Sê San River, in the Ialy commune, Chư Pah district, Gia Lai province. It is a modern and extensive system, blending seamlessly with the mountains. The road from National Highway 14 to the plant is paved, smooth, passing through dense residential areas, vibrant rubber forests, and picturesque ancient villas. Today, this remains an intriguing tourist destination where visitors can explore the hydroelectric plant, visit the Gia Rai ethnic village, take a boat trip upstream on the Sê San River to admire the mountain scenery, and immerse in the atmosphere of the Central Highlands.
