Previously, Kosutami also shared images of components believed to be from a prototype HomePod with a large touch-sensitive screen sensor on top, with a much larger area than the current HomePod control panel.

The interesting thing is the information from 9to5Mac reveals that the leaked images are accurate, also unveiling that this HomePod prototype is codenamed B720. It's a new product actively being researched by Apple, not a previously tested product.
According to 9to5Mac, the LcdUTest app displayed on the HomePod's screen is an internal app used by engineers to test the new display. Let's wait and see what other surprises 'Apple' will bring for its next-generation smart speaker!
