Apple is said to be developing a new HomePod with a screen, and we've just got our initial glimpse of the product's design through a series of leaked images circulating online.

The leaked images show a HomePod of similar size to the second-generation HomePod released earlier this year, but with an added LCD screen on top.

Previously, Kosutami also shared images of components believed to be from a prototype HomePod with a large touch-sensitive screen sensor on top, with a much larger area than the current HomePod control panel.

The interesting thing is the information from 9to5Mac reveals that the leaked images are accurate, also unveiling that this HomePod prototype is codenamed B720. It's a new product actively being researched by Apple, not a previously tested product.
