In response to the 'Tree Planting Tet - Forever Grateful to Uncle Ho' movement, our school organized a greenery care session. The event took place last Sunday with the participation of all teachers and students throughout the school.
Spring is the season for planting trees, and our school planted many trees last month. Last week, we were called to care for the greenery as an exciting experiential activity. Some of us brought watering cans, others brought pruning shears, and the rest brought buckets and pots...
According to the school's assignment, our class and another class collaborated to care for the trees around the sports ground. The trees surrounding the sports ground are large and provide shade, including species like banyan, phoenix flower, barringtonia, and Indian rubber tree. Together, we cleared all the weeds around the tree bases and picked up litter. Then, each person took a bucket, fetched water, and watered the trees.
