With the rollout of this new feature, it seems like Netflix, the streaming giant, is planning to tap into new user markets in the OTT segment, attracting younger viewers and expanding its user base.
Furthermore, with fierce competition from other platforms such as Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, and various OTT platforms in the digital streaming market, Netflix's move aims to attract users from platforms focusing on short-form videos like TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
Finally, the new Kids Clips feature will be rolled out first to users in select countries including the United States, Canada, Australia, and Ireland, starting this week, and will be available on iOS devices initially.
