Back in July, Netflix officially confirmed its plans to enter the mobile gaming market, along with introducing a new category called 'other new content' alongside its existing movie and TV show categories for its subscribers. Since then, the company has been consistently adding more free, ad-free games to its new service, including titles like Stranger Things.

Netflix introduces its Gaming platform on Android devices.
At the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2019, Netflix detailed the integration of games from popular platforms like Roblox and Fortnite, along with plans to bring new titles like Stranger Things to the market.

Shortly after, the company also collaborated with a Texas-based game studio to develop its first mobile game based on 'Stranger Things: The Game', later renamed to 'Stranger Things: 1984' to distinguish it from Stranger Things 3. These were the first two games tested on Netflix Games for Android in the Polish market back in August.
In September, Netflix acquired Night School Studio, renowned for adventure horror games like Oxenfree, to enrich its game library. Additionally, last month, the company launched three new games, namely Shooting Hoops, Teeter Up, and Card Blast, for Netflix subscribers in Spain and Italy.

To access these games on the Netflix app for Android, navigate to the new Games tab. Then, find and select any game to be redirected to the Google Play Store and install the game, similar to how you install apps/games. However, logging in and playing the game requires users to have a Netflix account and membership.
