Today Fortnite creators announced that the next update, Fortnite v12.60, will be released later today. Here are some exciting new features coming in Fortnite v12.60.
What's new in Fortnite v12.60 update?
Following Fortnite v12.60, Fortnite v12.61 will be the final update before transitioning to Fortnite Season 3.
Here are some new features in Fortnite update v12.60:
1. Recon Expert Skin makes a comeback
The first notable feature in update v12.60 is the return of Recon Expert to the Fortnite item shop. Recon Expert is a female skin, last seen in the item shop since its release on 11/12/2017.
2. New challenge named Storm the Agency
Fortnite update v12.60 brings a series of new challenges for players called Storm the Agency. Upon completing the challenges, players will receive a glider as a reward.
3. New Skins
Alongside the new challenges, Fortnite update v12.60 also introduces a range of new skins for players to choose from.
4. Doomsday Event
Popular data miner iFiremonkey has discovered a new file in Fortnite version v12.60 called Fritter, believed to be linked to the Doomsday device at The Agency.
5. Bug Fixes in Fortnite v12.60
- Dragacorn Glider disabled, no longer available in competitive playlist.
- Bug fix for Riot Control Baton Pickaxe, no longer disabled in competitive playlist.
- Fortnite update v12.60 addresses issues causing damage numbers to be incorrect.
- Deathbombs no longer deal damage to targets inside buildings.
- Bug fix for Black Metal Weapons not dealing damage.
