Apple's upcoming accessories are expected to transition to using USB-C ports for charging instead of Lightning.

Gurman mentioned that the new Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse, and Magic Trackpad accessories will launch alongside the new 24-inch M3 generation. However, it's currently unclear if they will bring any other changes in design and features.
The Magic Mouse currently has a battery life of about a month or longer between charges. However, the positioning of the Lightning port at the bottom of the mouse has been a meme in the Apple community for years, as it impedes using the mouse while charging. It's unclear if the USB-C port on the new version will be placed in a more convenient position.
All 15 models are equipped with USB-C ports instead of Lightning. The latest Siri Remote for Apple TV also features a USB-C port, and Apple has now ceased supplying MagSafe Backup Battery and MagSafe Dual Charging Dock with Lightning ports.
