Among the new performance features added to Firefox for iOS 12.1, users can now open the browser menu and check if they are synced, sync bookmarks, passwords, and tabs faster.
Another new feature is download support, a feature previously unavailable in the browser. According to Mozilla, the browser supports downloading files to mobile devices for users to read and access content while on the go. Users simply need to download files to their device, then access and share them from the main menu, where they will see a folder containing all downloaded files.
The final new feature is the share link menu, allowing users to add new links as bookmarks or to the reading list for later viewing. If logged in with a Firefox account, users can also send links to devices remotely.
