New teaser unveils realme GT 5, confirming primary camera specifications and connectivity capabilities

Today, realme has confirmed that the realme GT 5 will feature the Sony IMX890 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support. Although the manufacturer has not yet confirmed the technical specifications of the secondary cameras, it seems that this phone will have a 2-megapixel macro camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens.

realme has also confirmed that the GT 5 will support Wi-Fi 7. The device will have separate antennas for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to prevent interference. Additionally, internal Wi-Fi 7 improvements will help reduce average game latency to 20 milliseconds compared to the predecessor. Moreover, bandwidth will increase by 50% for weak signals.

realme GT 5 will also support an advanced three-frequency GPS positioning system. It combines three GPS frequencies, specifically L1, L2, and L5, along with a Beidou configuration of four frequencies including signals B1I, B1C, B2a, and B2b. This complex setup enables navigation with excellent accuracy, even on specific lanes.

According to previous reports, the realme GT 5 will feature a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, up to 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. It will have two variants: a 4,600mAh battery with 240W charging and a 5,240mAh battery with 150W fast charging.
