Immediately after the release of the latest update, Diablo 4 receives an onslaught of negative reviews.
After being on the market for over a month, Diablo 4 finally introduces a massive update called Season 1, promising extensive content for the next three months. Typically, players would rejoice at such fresh changes. However, to their surprise, excitement is scarce. On the contrary, Blizzard finds itself struggling with a torrent of negative feedback from the player community.

According to Metacritic, Diablo 4 has garnered hundreds of negative user comments, clearly demonstrating dissatisfaction with the changes in Season 1. The reason is simple: alongside the addition of new content, Diablo 4 has made adjustments to the power levels of all 5 character classes. Significantly, according to the majority, the developer has heavily nerfed the powers of all classes, while also implementing a series of changes that make the gameplay more difficult and challenging.

This ultimately leaves Blizzard in a state of turmoil. Specifically, while critics maintain an 86-point rating for the game, user ratings for Diablo 4 plummet to a mere 4 out of 100. The PC version of the game receives over 2,000 negative reviews, while positive comments barely make up half that number. Some players even suggest that Blizzard should revert most of the updates they've just announced. However, this scenario seems highly unlikely to materialize.

At the very least, Blizzard takes its own measures. The developer plans to hold a Campfire session, where they will meet with the community and listen to feedback from fans. Notably, this event is scheduled immediately after the launch of the Season 1 update. However, even if Blizzard agrees to changes, it will take time for them to release subsequent patches.
