The much-anticipated Microsoft Office 2019 is set to debut next year, featuring revamped versions of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, alongside Outlook. Additionally, it will include server editions of Exchange, SharePoint, and Skype for Business.
Microsoft is gearing up to launch Office 2019 in the coming year.
However, Microsoft remains tight-lipped about any further details on the features and enhancements of Office 2019. Users can anticipate new features such as fresh charts for data analysis in Excel, visual image features like Morph and Zoom in PowerPoint, a range of IT management features, as well as overall usability and security improvements and communication features.
The Preview version is expected to be released in the middle of next year, and the Microsoft Office 2019 version is set to launch next year, specifically in the second half of 2018.
Beyond the Clouds
Surprisingly, Microsoft is focusing on the cloud, actively promoting Office 365. Recently, they redesigned the Office 365 interface to help users work more efficiently. However, it seems Microsoft is still open to considering the needs of traditional Office customers.
In a recently published blog, Microsoft stated: “Office 2019 is a value-added upgrade for customers who feel the need to retain some or all of the on-premises applications and servers, and we will share more detailed information about the release of Office 2019 in the coming months.”
