Recently, a heated discussion about the mature portrayal of Kamado Nezuko in Demon Slayer/Kimetsu no Yaiba has resurfaced on Twitter. In her demon state, not only does Nezuko's power increase significantly, but her physical appearance also 'matures' to that of a full-grown woman.

During that period, Nezuko also faced much criticism when the Red Light District arc aired. The central issue brought up by Twitter users is the portrayal of 14-year-old Nezuko in her mature form.
Many fans argue that depicting such a young character from a mature perspective with an overly sensual figure is inappropriate. This detail raises concerns about responsibly portraying teenage characters in anime and manga.
Of course, many fans have come to Nezuko's defense, stating that there is nothing wrong with Nezuko's mature form. Another fan even points out that Daki, one of the main antagonists in the Red Light District arc, is also only 13 years old.
In fact, Kamado Nezuko is one of the most beloved characters in the series for her cute appearance and kind-hearted personality. Perhaps that's why this girl has once again become the center of attention recently due to her somewhat exaggerated 'maturity' whenever she transforms into a demon.
