Nghinh Phong Square - Phú Yên's New Unique Iconic Landmark
Phú Yên in recent years has gradually become an attractive tourist destination in the eyes of travelers. Not only does it have pristine beautiful beaches, ancient cultural and historical relics, but also new unique architectural works, reflecting the new vitality of this region. Among them, we cannot overlook Nghinh Phong Square, which can be said that since its completion, it has become a new icon of Phú Yên.
Nghinh Phong Square is located at the intersection of Nguyễn Hữu Thọ and Độc Lập, Tuy Hòa city. The architectural work is inspired by the idea of stacked rock blocks at Ganh Da Dia, a famous location also in Phú Yên.
A special feature and highlight of Nghinh Phong Square is the Nghinh Phong Tower. The Nghinh Phong Tower is located facing Nghinh Phong Square, consisting of two tall towers, shaped like stacked rock blocks. The taller column represents Lạc Long Quân, the shorter column represents Âu Cơ, and the lower stone steps represent 100 children.
The space between the two towers will only accommodate two people and at the same time, this space is calculated to create a 'wind gap'. Every time the wind blows through this gap, it will create a different melody, never the same.
On the main wall in the middle of the 'wind gap' are decorated with bas-reliefs depicting images of Phú Yên. In addition, to leave a mark even when the sun sets, the project uses a unique lighting system combined with high-intensity laser technology to display unique lighting effects.
