Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street to showcase weekly art performances

'Alongside familiar forms like magic and singing, there will be unique melodies from traditional Vietnamese art forms such as 'hat doi' singing, 'don ca tai tu' music, and gong dancing,' stated Mr. Hoang Vu.
According to the program, 'Ho Chi Minh City Street Show' will be organized regularly from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM every Saturday and Sunday with 6 stages on Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street. The program's innovation lies in the creative fusion of contemporary global street art and the folk culture of the three regions of Vietnam.
Mr. Bui Ta Hoang Vu expressed that the program aspires to create a high-quality cultural and entertaining tourism product, contribute to enhancing the quality of TPHCM's attractions, and provide additional spaces for fun, recreation, and entertainment for the city's residents.
In addition to regular performances, 'Ho Chi Minh City Street Show' will organize competitions, creating a platform for individuals and groups with talent and passion for various forms of street art, aiming to host the International Street Art Festival.
Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Department stated that through performance themes, distinctive features about the city's tourism information will be integrated and conveyed in a rich manner. It is noted that the funding for this program is mobilized from social sources.
