During non-festival seasons, Perfume Pagoda has its own beauty, peaceful and serene. Especially in the autumn, you can immerse yourself in the beautiful pink hue of cherry blossoms.
No need to go far, right in Hanoi there is a place filled with cherry blossoms, scenes as beautiful as in historical dramas.
As one of the famous and sacred temples in the North, Perfume Pagoda is a familiar destination for many travelers at the beginning of the year. But Perfume Pagoda is not only beautiful during festival seasons. In early September, when the autumn sun begins to cast its golden glow everywhere, Perfume Pagoda takes on a very special and fresh beauty. During non-festival seasons, Perfume Pagoda is tranquil, the Yen Stream is no longer filled with boats, instead, along the way to the temple, there are sections immersed in the pink color of cherry blossoms.

Against the green backdrop of the sky, of the water, the pink color of cherry blossoms is as beautiful as a poem. In the blooming cherry blossom sections, one can easily be mesmerized by the scent of flowers. Imagine this, on just a few hundred meters of the stream, there are thousands of cherry blossoms blooming in vibrant pink, stretching along the water's surface. Who wouldn't be enchanted by that?

The scenery at Perfume Pagoda, originally poetic and peaceful, is now embellished by the Yen Stream flooding with flowers, exuding a strange and tranquil serenity. Tourists can both pray for peace at the temple and enjoy the peacefulness of the countryside with the vibrant cherry blossom clusters.

And if someone happens to be enchanted by scenes resembling watercolor paintings in martial arts films, then they must surely visit Perfume Pagoda once to capture some fond memories. Here, there are mountains, temples, streams, and breathtakingly beautiful flowers. But please note that cherry blossoms usually bloom in the early morning when dew still blankets the mountains of Perfume Pagoda and close their flower buds when the midday sun begins to intensify. So, if you want to admire the flowers or take photos, you should go early enough to stroll around between 7 to 9 in the morning. At that time, the weather is cool, and the flowers are in full bloom.

Upon arrival, if you wish to take in the scenery along both banks of the stream, you can board the boats available for 50,000 VND per person. Additionally, if you want to venture into the cherry blossom stream for photography, you will need to pay an extra fee of 50,000 VND per boat to the local people. All in all, it's not expensive for a leisurely autumn day, isn't it!
