In winter, the condition of peeling hands due to frequent dishwashing always worries women, especially homemakers. The chemicals in dishwashing liquids and the impact of cold water cause women's hands to peel and crack. Despite efforts to maintain, women still cannot avoid daily dishwashing tasks. To overcome this condition and improve the ugly peeling, dry, cracked hands, you can apply the following hand mask and hand care formula with lemon and fresh milk below.
This method not only helps women save time visiting dermatologists, applying specialized creams but also quickly restores soft, smooth hands after just a few times of implementation.
Preparation:

- Fresh lemons: 2 pieces
- Unsweetened fresh milk: 200ml
- Small bowl
- Vaseline: 1 jar
Instructions:
Step 1: Heat the fresh milk in a pot. Then, halve the lemons, squeeze out the juice, strain the seeds, and dissolve the lemon juice in the warm milk. Pour this mixture into the bowl.
Step 2: Clean your hands with warm water, then soak them in the bowl containing the mixture of fresh milk and lemon juice from earlier. Soak your hands for 2 minutes, then lift them out and gently massage the surface of your skin. Once the mixture dries, repeat the soaking and gentle massaging process.

Step 3: After soaking and massaging your hands with the mixture of lemon juice and fresh milk for 20 – 30 minutes, then rinse your hands with warm water to clean them.
Step 4: Use a soft towel to pat your hands dry and apply an additional layer of Vaseline to enhance moisture, completing the hand care process.
Follow this method 2 – 3 times per week, preferably before bedtime, to achieve desired results in the shortest time possible.
Benefits:

Meanwhile, fresh milk, rich in lactic acid and vitamins, as well as fats, will provide moisture to the skin, nourishing it to be smooth, soothing, and gradually healing areas of peeling, dry, and cracked skin.
Attention:
- Avoid soaking your hands in water that is too hot. When heating milk, only warm it to the appropriate temperature, then turn off the heat, to avoid scalding the skin during soaking.
- If your skin is overly sensitive, consider wearing gloves while washing dishes to protect it from chemicals and cold water that may damage the skin.
Even if you don't have peeling skin, it's still advisable to apply moisturizer or hand cream every night before bed to protect your hands.
