1. Nokia 2.2 with a Waterdrop Display and Single Rear Camera Unveils Its Design Before the Official Launch
Expectedly, alongside Nokia 2.2, HMD Global will showcase Nokia 6.2 at an event preparing to take place in India.
According to recent shared information, HMD Global is organizing an event in India today (6/6). During this event, HMD will officially release Nokia 9 in the Indian market and introduce two more Nokia smartphones, namely Nokia 2.2 and Nokia 6.2.
Ahead of the event, the design of Nokia 2.2 has already been leaked.
Nokia 2.2 is the successor to last year's Nokia 2.1. Compared to last year, Nokia 2.2 undergoes significant design upgrades with the elimination of the top bezel, adopting a waterdrop design. The bottom bezel of the device is thicker than the remaining edges but thinner than that of Nokia 2.1.
On the back of the device, there is only one camera accompanied by an LED flash. It seems like the back panel of the device will be made of glass. It's not clear whether HMD will equip Nokia 2.2 with a fingerprint sensor. Additionally, the rendered images indicate that the device will have a dedicated button to summon the Google Assistant on the left side and a headphone jack on the top.
