In the latest Counterpoint Research report for Q1/2021, Nokia, in collaboration with HMD Global, achieved its first sales growth since 2019. Specifically, in the first quarter of 2021, Nokia sold 2 million smartphones, marking an 18% increase compared to the same period last year, with only 1.7 million units.

Counterpoint Research also attributes this success to HMD Global's robust activities in Europe and Africa, where they sold 11 million feature phones in the first quarter. In total, Nokia sold an impressive 13 million devices. Additionally, the Nokia C, G, and X phone series gained notable attention in emerging markets.
