It is the largest pagoda in Vietnam, known for numerous records such as the largest bronze Buddha statue in Southeast Asia, the largest bronze bell in Southeast Asia, the hallway with the most Buddha statues...
Here, there are hundreds of Arhat statues placed along the entrance and exit path of the pagoda. Passing by each statue, many people often reach out to touch them, hoping for good things in life.
The pagoda has main attractions such as the Three Gates, bell tower, Quan Am hall, Phap Chu hall, and Tam The hall. To reach each attraction, you have to walk through a quite long path, mostly consisting of stairs. Explore the indigenous village
The Kong: Skull Island film set area is recreated within the Trang An ecological complex in Ninh Binh. To reach the village, you'll have to cross a small island, then a series of temples where signs will guide you to the film set entrance. Climbing up about a hundred steps will lead you to the exhibition area - where a replica of the explorer's ship from the movie is displayed. Crossing the boat takes you to the indigenous village!
The indigenous village recreated in Ninh Binh consists of about 40 bamboo huts built on stilts. They are all situated on a fairly large ground. They are built alternately on both sides, with a stone path in the middle.
Another special thing is that many locals have dressed up exactly like the indigenous people in the movie, from their faces to their costumes and sitting inside the huts. So, visitors feel like they are living... in the movie!
