Today, Nothing's CEO Carl Pei has officially confirmed the arrival of a new smartphone. Therefore, it seems we won't have to wait too long to see Nothing Phone (2a) in action.
There are numerous speculations suggesting that Nothing Phone (2a) might debut at the upcoming MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2024, scheduled for late February. With Carl Pei releasing the first teaser for the device, we can expect more information to emerge soon.
A recent leak has revealed that Nothing Phone (2a) will offer users two configuration options: 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM and 12GB RAM + 256GB ROM. It will have a starting price of around $400 USD (approximately 9.7 million VND), available in white and black variants.
Render images of Nothing Phone 2aRegarding specifications, the Nothing Phone (2a) could feature an OLED Full-HD+ 120Hz 6.7-inch display, Dimensity 7200 chipset, and a 4,920mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. As mentioned earlier, it may come with up to 12GB of RAM and a maximum internal storage of 256GB. The device will run on Android 14 with the Nothing OS 2.5 user interface.
The Nothing Phone (2a) will sport a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 front camera. Its rear camera setup will include a 50-megapixel main sensor S5KGN9 with OIS support, and a 50-megapixel Samsung S5KJN1 ultra-wide lens. Other features of this phone include an in-display fingerprint scanner, dual speakers, and a new three-part glyph interface on the back.
