Núi Thị Vải – Perfect Spot for Trekking in Vung Tau

From Highway 51, you can reach Phu My town and then turn left onto a 3 km trail leading to the base of Mount Thị Vải. Here, park your vehicle at a local's house and start your journey climbing the stone steps. As you ascend the mountain, you'll also have the chance to visit three temples: Linh Sơn Liên Trì Temple (Lower Temple), Linh Sơn Hồng Phúc Temple (Middle Temple), and Linh Sơn Bửu Thiền Temple (Upper Temple).

After climbing approximately 1,340 steps in about an hour, you'll be rewarded with the tranquil scenery of Linh Sơn Bửu Thiền Temple. The temple's main entrance faces west and is constructed in the Japanese architectural style. It's a sacred, serene place with fresh, clean air, providing travelers with a sense of refreshment after their journey.

Mount Thị Vải is a popular destination for outdoor activities such as long-distance walking, mountain climbing, camping, and mountain biking. With its pristine natural environment, it's an ideal place to engage in outdoor activities and experience authentic countryside life. If you want to enjoy the beauty of Mount Thị Vải for a longer period, you can plan a camping trip here.

Before embarking on the journey to conquer Mount Thị Vải, ensure you're fully equipped with personal belongings, food, water, and necessary outdoor gear. Also, exercise caution with every step to avoid accidents, injuries, or unforeseen circumstances while trekking.

Upon reaching this destination, you'll hear numerous fascinating stories about landmarks such as Heaven's Gate. To reach Heaven's Gate, you must circle behind Linh Sơn Thiền Bửu Temple, then continue ascending the steps. Along the way, bamboo bushes sway incessantly in the wind. Heaven's Gate comprises two high stone slabs, about 7-8m tall, slightly inclined to form a V-shaped path in between.

Continuing the ascent, you'll encounter massive standalone rock formations and dense bamboo bushes near the summit. Mount Thị Vải stands at only about 500m above sea level. Notably, this mountain peak marks the boundary of three administrative units: Tóc Tiên commune, Tân Phước commune, and Phú Mỹ town, considered the summit of Mount Thị Vải.
