Doinb exhibits absolute confidence in T1's championship potential in LCK Spring 2022.
The LCK Spring 2022 Semifinals unfolded with contrasting narratives. While T1 continued to set records for the fastest BO5 series in LCK playoffs history, the match between DWG KIA and Gen.G Esports was much more dramatic. Gen.G players narrowly avoided elimination with a miraculous comeback in the deciding phase.
Both Semifinal matches garnered significant attention from the global LoL community. T1's match left spectators pondering how Faker and his teammates would extend their winning streak. Meanwhile, the other Semifinal between Gen.G and DK determined which team would challenge T1's dominance.
After witnessing the Semifinal matches, the majority of the LoL community believes that Faker and his teammates are nearly certain to win the championship. While T1 played confidently with many strategies yet to be revealed, Gen.G struggled significantly. Without DK's late-game mistakes and exceptional performances from Chovy and Ruler, Gen.G could have been the team facing defeat.
Not only spectators, but also analysts and players, are skeptical of Gen.G's chances of victory. LNG Esports' midlaner Doinb is a prime example. After watching the DK vs. Gen.G match, he bluntly stated: 'I watched the DK - Gen.G match. After watching it, I can only say that the game was too easy for T1. No matter which team advances to the finals, T1 will dominate. If they play like they did today, they have no chance against T1.'
Indeed, in their respective matches, both DK and Gen.G revealed numerous issues. Meanwhile, T1 is approaching perfection, from their playstyle to their coordination. Not necessarily a star-studded lineup like Gen.G, but surely, T1 has thoroughly studied the match between DK and Gen.G. Hence, it would be no surprise if Faker and his teammates become the most perfect champions in LoL history with a streak of 20 consecutive unbeaten matches after the LCK Spring 2022 finals against Gen.G.
