When wild sunflowers begin to bloom, it's a sign that the rainy days are gradually coming to an end, making way for the golden hues to blanket the mountainous streets.
October sees the collective pursuit of wild sunflowers bursting into full bloom

From serene places like Bao Loc, D’ran, to bustling tourist cities like Da Lat, Buon Ma Thuot, to remote areas like Lang Son, Dien Bien, everywhere seems to don a fresh coat in preparation for the arrival of winter.

Da Lat
– Da Lat - the land of Vạn Thành flowers - Tà Nung - Thác Voi - Lang Biang route boasts stretches adorned with a myriad of golden shades, while the abandoned Cam Ly airport area features fascinating dirt roads winding through fields of wild sunflowers. Additionally, you can visit flower villages and Thac Voi waterfall.
– Explore the Trại Mát – Cầu Đất route (Xuân Trường commune), about 30 km from the city center of Da Lat, where you can enjoy the thrill of riding a motorcycle on winding mountain roads, admiring endless tea plantations and glimpses of wild sunflowers basking under the morning sun.

– At the beginning of the road to the Liên Khương expressway - Prenn pass, just after reaching the foot of Prenn pass, if you look to the left, you'll see hillsides and dirt roads painted in the vibrant yellow of these flowers. From the beginning of the expressway, drive a few hundred meters to the toll booth, then continue for another 3 km on National Highway 20 towards Ho Chi Minh City, constantly glancing at a 45-degree angle towards the hillsides, where you'll witness wild sunflowers in full bloom.
– In the Tu Tra – Bồng Lai area, near Đà Lạt Milk farm and O’star farm, flowers bloom abundantly on both sides of the road. If you're traveling by motorcycle from Ho Chi Minh City, you'll encounter many beautiful flowers, especially near the Đa Nhim hydroelectric plant.

– Some red dirt trails near the foot of Lang Biang mountain.
– An Bình road leads tourists towards the Mud Tunnel tourist area. Here, there's a hill with deep yellow flowers, large and beautiful, while both sides of the path are adorned with vibrant clusters of yellow blooms.
– The area around Đại Ninh bridge - Đại Ninh reservoir on National Highway 20 in Đức Trọng district sees an abundance of wild sunflowers near the reservoir, though the petals are not as large and beautiful as those in Tu Tra or on the Liên Khương expressway.

D’ran Highlands
– D’ran Highlands also boast plenty of flowers, but you need to venture into Châu Sơn pine hills, Hùng Vương school, small red dirt roads leading to villages... to truly appreciate them, as there are only scattered blooms along the mountain roads.
– The winding Ngoạn Mục pass road from Phan Rang to Da Lat also features scattered wild sunflowers, seemingly beckoning travelers to hurry to the city to catch the most beautiful season of blossoms.
