The May update of Office 2016 for Mac integrates LinkedIn and several other features for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and is now available as version 16.13 for Office Insider in the Insider Slow channel.

Starting with Word in Office 2016, Microsoft has added support for Resume Assistant provided by LinkedIn, allowing users to easily create a tailored resume with relevant information for a specific position based on their LinkedIn profile. Initially announced in November last year, this feature was made available to Windows users earlier this year. Additionally, Word has been enhanced with improved accessibility features, making it easier for users to navigate the Ribbon using keyboard shortcuts.

Outlook has also received some enhancements, including support for Google contacts and calendars, customizable swipe gestures for emails, and week numbers on the calendar.
Excel includes the ability to filter PivotTable data by date, allowing users to analyze data by year, month, or even day using time filters. In addition to PowerPoint and Word, Excel 2016 for Mac also features support for icons, with Microsoft offering over 500 icons for users to add to their documents.
Finally, the tech giant has integrated chat features into Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, allowing users to communicate with others without leaving the document they are working on.
