Microsoft has just released Office 2019 Preview for Mac for business users. Across all Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, users will notice a pencil icon area shift and customizable Ribbon.

Word and PowerPoint now include Focus mode, Morph Transition slide effects in PowerPoint, and 4K video export. Additionally, Excel introduces new charts and functions, and Outlook features focused inbox.
The new features of Office 2019 for Mac mainly comprise features already introduced to Office 365 subscribers. However, users with perpetual licenses for Office 2016 have not been supplemented to experience these features.
Microsoft also states that Office 2019 for Mac includes command-line tools for IT Admins, allowing admins to control how Office updates are distributed, security policies, and options for Visual Basic macros.
The Preview version includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote. The official release will be available to all users in the second half of this year.
