The Office 1808 update (Build 10730.20030) is now being deployed to Insider users in the Slow Ring. With the latest Office suite update, Microsoft has added new features to the Outlook app to prevent users from forwarding your meetings to others.
Office update introduces exciting new features for Insider users
Below are the full details of the new features in the update:
- Outlook: The update adds a new feature allowing you to block attendees from forwarding your meetings to friends or colleagues. To get started, navigate to the Ribbon and click on Response Options.
- Access: The Linked Table Manager has been greatly improved, allowing you to manage all linked data sources and tables.
- Project: Users can customize the Task Board tab to display important details.
- Visio: Users can now automatically add shapes and metadata to Word documents for customization and creation of organizational charts or project processes. Additionally, Microsoft has added 26 new icons including faces, analytics, art, etc.
On the support page, Microsoft explains that users will receive the latest Office update for Windows by subscribing to the Monthly Channel (or within the Slow Ring). Office Insider Builds are released monthly for all supported platforms, adding new features and improvements.
