Information about the Health Declaration App
According to Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam, the purpose of declaring health status through the NCOVI app is to provide your health information to authorized agencies, and this is entirely voluntary, not mandatory.
The duo of these applications has been developed by VNPT Group along with some leading IT companies in Vietnam. Early declaration will help both citizens and authorities to be more proactive in prevention and treatment if unfortunately infected.
More specifically, this application will be divided into 2 specific parts:
- Health declaration for entry (Vietnam Health declaration):
- National health declaration (NCOVI): applies to all Vietnamese citizens.
Particularly, the information provided by citizens on this application will be kept absolutely confidential and used only for community support purposes, minimizing potential risks. As of now, both the NCOVI and Vietnam Health declaration applications have officially appeared on the two most popular platforms today, Android (Google Play) and iOS (Appstore).
Advantages of health declaration application
The health declaration application launched at the current time is considered extremely reasonable, and it is also highly appreciated for the following criteria:
- Citizens can declare their health status online via their phones without having to go directly to hospitals or medical centers, which will help limit crowding and make it easier for the disease to spread.
- The application also provides the most accurate information about the COVID-19 situation in Vietnam and worldwide.
- It offers recommendations for disease prevention, alerts about areas with outbreaks for people to be aware of and take preventive measures proactively.
- It provides feedback on suspected or confirmed cases for the health department and relevant authorities to access early and implement isolation measures.
- It is fully available on the two largest app stores today, so users of both iPhone and Android phones can easily download it.
Note:
It is essential to provide accurate information when declaring or reporting on the application; any inaccurate information will be considered a violation of Vietnamese law and may result in criminal prosecution.
The nCovi MobiFone application on the AppStore is only applicable to internal MobiFone staff.
In addition to the two applications mentioned above, people can also use electronic information portals such as suckhoetoandan.vn/khaiyte or tokhaiyte.vn to quickly complete electronic health declarations.
