Update 1.0 brings players a smaller Sanhok map with new weapons and dynamic weather effects, a new War Mode similar to Deathmatch modes in other shooters, accessory transactions, and a new Event Pass. Additionally, Xbox One players have the option to purchase several DLC outfits.
Official release of PUBG for Xbox One coming in just 2 weeks!
Releasing version 1.0 doesn't mean PUBG developers have finished the game. The PC version exited Steam Early Access in December last year, but has since continuously received additions of features, weapons, and new maps.
Recently, PUBG's creators, PUBG Corp, have acknowledged player complaints regarding basic bugs, performance issues, and graphical quality. They've announced a new Fix PUBG campaign to address all remaining issues that affect player experience.
The Xbox version hasn't been exempt from issues either. Since its introduction to the Game Preview Program, the game has left players frustrated with various issues related to bugs and performance. Consequently, developers still have to resolve many other issues.
Furthermore, Microsoft is introducing a new 'exclusive' Xbox One controller designed to support PUBG gameplay, bundled with PUBG DLC. The device is set to be released on October 30th for $69.99 USD, and pre-orders are available starting today.
Currently, you can download and play PUBG on PC. Alternatively, if you prefer playing on your Smartphone, you can download PUBG Mobile, available for both Android and iOS.
