Official: Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 Set for August Launch with Leica Camera

Xiaomi's newly established smart factory is poised to roll out the MIX Fold 3 as its inaugural product.

The MIX Fold 2 debuted last August, making it unsurprising that its successor is expected around the same timeframe this year. Xiaomi's current foldable model, with its slim 11.2mm profile, sets the stage for the MIX Fold 3 to further slim down.

Recently, the well-known leaker Digital Chat Station revealed the MIX Fold 3 will debut with a white curved glass body. It's expected to feature a quad-camera setup with high-end specs on the rear and a new waterdrop hinge design, similar to the upcoming Z Fold5.

Internally, the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 boasts the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, complemented by 67W wired and 50W wireless fast charging capabilities. For photography enthusiasts, it features a telephoto camera with 3.2x optical zoom and a periscope lens for an impressive 5x optical zoom, along with a primary camera and an ultra-wide lens.
