The latest chapter of One Piece reveals the defeat of both Big Mom and Kaido, who are now submerged in the river of mud. The alliance of the Two Emperors has officially lost to the Super Novas.
Being the most invested arc to date, the Wano battle is now entering its final phase. The formidable alliance of the Two Emperors, Big Mom and Kaido, has been defeated. From the beginning of the battle, Oda painted an impressive picture, with 5 Super Novas facing off against 2 Emperors. Few would have thought that beasts like Kaido and Big Mom would be defeated by names such as Luffy, Law, Kid. However, reality has proven many wrong.

Some One Piece readers believe that as a shonen manga, our main characters will inevitably defeat the enemy. However, Oda's construction of the Wano arc showcases the author's vision and the logical progression of the storyline.
Starting with the battle on the rooftop of Kaido's castle, the governor of the Beast Pirates was initially confident alongside Big Mom that those 'brats' (Super Novas) would not be able to accomplish anything. However, when Luffy, Law, Kid, Killer, and Zoro displayed their strength and determination, Kaido himself became intrigued to see what the new generation of pirates would achieve. Big Mom also viewed the battle with the Super Novas as a game she wanted to witness those 'stubborn' ones play.

Many One Piece readers were surprised to see Big Mom defeated by Kid and Law. What's even more puzzling is that despite possessing Emperor Haki, Big Mom did not use it in her battle with these two Super Novas. Her arrogance and underestimation of her opponents cost her dearly. This was the first time this Emperor had to face two Super Novas with incredibly powerful awakened Devil Fruit abilities. Kid teamed up smoothly with Law to defeat Big Mom, creating favorable conditions for Luffy to shine.

Throughout the battle between Luffy and Kaido, we've witnessed how the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates has progressed and how determined he is. With the power of the Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit awakened alongside Gear 5, Luffy has engaged in a fair fight and forced Kaido to use all his might.
However, despite the efforts of the ruler of Wano, the situation remains unchanged, as he was defeated and reunited with his ally in the same pit. The moment Big Mom and Kaido submerged themselves in the river of mud seems to be Oda's way of declaring that victory belongs to the Super Novas in Wano Country.
With this victory, undoubtedly the rewards for Luffy and the other Super Novas, especially Law and Kid, will skyrocket after the Wano arc. There is no doubt anymore that the old generation of pirates, represented by Big Mom and Kaido, has been defeated. Now, the world of One Piece will recognize the Super Novas as a new pirate force, more ambitious and powerful than the Emperors.

Introduced by Oda long ago, we finally understand that the generation of Super Novas created by this author is meant to replace the most prominent pirates of the previous generation. After the Wano arc, we will gradually forget about Kaido and Big Mom to continue following what Luffy, Zoro, Law, or Kid will achieve in One Piece. What do you think about this?
