OnePlus unveils liquid-cooled thermal accessory: Magnetic suction, reduces up to 34°C, priced at $1,800

OnePlus has just launched a thermal cooling accessory to minimize overheating for smartphones and other electronic devices.

Recently, OnePlus has introduced a thermal cooling accessory for phones and, named the 45W Liquid-Cooled Magnetic Wireless Charging Cooler. This product is advertised to use liquid cooling, capable of reducing heat up to 34 degrees Celsius, with a power of 45W and allowing users to attach magnetically to the back of the phone. Currently, it is being sold at a discounted price of 549 NDT (approximately $1,800).

Prominent with magnetic capabilities, lightweight at only 73g and thin at 12mm, the product can also be used as a 10W wireless charger. This accessory integrates an advanced liquid cooling system, providing 50 times higher convective heat transfer efficiency than traditional air cooling. Inside are cooling plates containing liquid, Hall sensors, TEC cooling plates, heat-conducting silicone pads, and a high-performance water pump to enhance cooling efficiency.

One of the interesting features of the product is its low noise level, only 24dB even when operating at high power. The design allows users to use it hands-free, enhancing the experience and not interrupting other tasks. Users also need not worry too much about the safety of the product, as it has been integrated with protective measures to avoid water condensation or obstruction in the fan. If an issue arises, the protection feature will be activated immediately, ensuring maximum safety.

To increase compatibility and device diversity, OnePlus also sells separate thermal conductive magnetic adhesive pads for Nintendo, tablets, and laptops. OnePlus also previously released a similar cooling kit in 2019, but without magnetic charging, priced at around 469 NDT (approximately $1,500).
