OnePlus introduces the design of its first foldable smartphone, unexpectedly disclosed through a series of leaked renders online.
According to reports, OnePlus is said to be developing a foldable screen smartphone named OnePlus Open. The phone is expected to be unveiled in the latter half of this year or later. Recently, the leak expert @OnLeaks shared a set of renders of OnePlus Open, giving us a clearer view of the design before the official launch.
Rendered images believed to be of OnePlus OpenThe latest renders reveal that OnePlus Open will have a compact form factor, with a frame-to-screen ratio similar to OPPO Find N2 and even Google Pixel Fold. The smartphone can be compared in size to a wallet. Surrounding the device are softly curved edges, providing a comfortable grip. OnePlus Open features slim bezels, and the external screen houses a selfie camera placed in the center of a punch-hole cutout, with an additional camera sensor positioned in the top left corner of the main screen.

There's a high possibility that the camera module will house a LiDAR or Time-of-Flight sensor. The back of the device is crafted from faux leather material.
Rendered images believed to be of OnePlus OpenOnePlus Open may adopt a boxy design, with the power button integrating a fingerprint sensor. The phone retains OnePlus' distinctive alert slider. This smartphone will feature 4 speakers located both at the top and bottom, utilizing a USB-C charging port.
